As a manager, you play a critical role in creating a mentally healthy workplace. This is through the people you directly supervise, and as a leader influencing other within your business. Your staff, in particular, will look to you for leadership, guidance and support. Recognise the importance of work/life balance and provide employees the opportunity to balance the demands of work, family and personal life.

Ensure that managers and staff are responsive to employees’ mental health conditions, regardless of cause and that adjustments to work and counselling support are available.
